Real savings: what the bills of 6 Portuguese customers show

We analysed a full year of bills in Braga, Lisbon, Évora and Faro. These are the numbers.
Methodology
We compared the 12 months before and after installation, correcting for the changes in tariff and consumption reported by the customers.
Results
The average annual saving was 61% in systems without a battery and 84% in hybrid systems. The best result, in Évora, reached 91%.
The worst result — 44% — was recorded in a house in Braga with partial shading and almost exclusively night-time consumption.
Conclusion
The deciding factor is not the district but the consumption profile. Good sizing is worth more than extra panels.
