All the brands compared have efficiencies above 97% (Victron's is lower because it is designed for off-grid use). Over the annual output of a home installation, the difference between 97.8% and 98.6% amounts to a few euros a year — it should not be the deciding factor.

The Hybrid Solar Solutions recommendation
There is no single best inverter for every project. In a home with a battery and backup, Deye gives the most complete package for the money — a hybrid with backup and generator support as standard, and a free choice of battery; if what you value most is panel-by-panel monitoring, Huawei is the best choice; for commercial installations above 50 kW, Sungrow scales better and keeps a competitive cost per kW; for simple self-consumption without a battery, Growatt is the most economical way to do it well; and in a fully stand-alone, critical system, Victron remains the benchmark. We recommend equipment according to the consumption profile and the type of installation — we would rather tell you this than sell you the wrong equipment.
