What changes for an installation in Lagos
Lagos combines a historic centre, scattered villas and a strong presence of holiday rentals (alojamento local) and boating. Consumption is markedly seasonal, peaking in summer, but there are more and more permanent homes and foreign residents with steady consumption all year round — and those are the cases where the payback is quickest.
In a villa with a pool and a heat pump, daytime consumption is enough to do without a battery. When a customer insists on storage, we show them the numbers first: a battery often adds years to the payback without adding any real saving.

A technical note from our team
The Costa Vicentina brings strong, constant wind, well above the average for the Sotavento, the eastern Algarve. That means reinforcing the mounting and reducing the span between rails, especially on flat roofs with raised frames. Salt comes with the wind: A4 stainless steel and anodised aluminium, never painted steel.
